This Herbal Salve is Barbara's personal recipe, made with loving care by Barbara's daughter, son-in-law & grandchildren in the rolling hills of Wisconsin. Each batch is carefully handmade, with many of the herbs coming from the family organic garden. Locally & ethically sourced wildcrafted herbs & essential oils, local beeswax & lots of love in every jar!!!
The herbal salve is made with Comfrey containing rosmarinic acid, a powerful anti-inflammatory and pain reliever as well as allantoin that stimulates new cells to grow and tissues to regenerate. Traditionally used for bone breaks, fractures, bruises, sprains and inflammation.
St. John’s Wort for its soothing anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Horsetail for its high amounts of silica to promote skin and connective tissue healing.
Added essential oils of Eucalyptus and Tea-tree used for relaxing muscles, clearing congestion, antifungal and immunostimulant properties.
Blended with extra virgin olive oil, used since ancient times for nourishing skin with pure Bees wax to emulsify.
Uses:
Osteoarthritis, back pain, joint pain, arthritis, sport injuries and accidents.
Improves mobility, reduces swelling, decreases pain. Soothes irritated skin, sore muscles.
Heals bruises, sprains, fractures. Repairs tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue.
DO NOT USE ON OPEN WOUNDS.
Apply as needed for 3 weeks, take 1 week off and resume the application rotation.
