Thank you for your message. We of course agree that glass is the best option for products. However, if you do some research on how castor oil is shipped to the bottling facilities, you will discover that it is shipped in huge plastic containers. They then put the castor oil into glass or plastic containers of a smaller size. If you would like to pay extra for glass containers that have castor oil that was already in plastic that was in the heat of the sun on a ship, we can attempt to source that. However, we feel that we would be untruthful in doing so. When asked, we encourage our customers to use the bottles up within 6 months of purchase or move it into a glass bottle for longer storage. This will limit the amount of time it’s in the dark plastic bottles.
